The atmosphere of the facility was designed to be residential and homelike
allowing for ease of access on the ground floor to playgrounds and the outside.
The focal point of the facility is a large motor skill area centrally located and
accessed by preschool, kindergarten and school age children. The infants and
toddlers were buffered from this area to allow for quiet and sleeping time.
